Four Bridges Bluegrass Band will play Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. “From fast-paced, hard-hitting bluegrass to sultry and down-home country music, Four Bridges Bluegrass Band encompasses a wide range of traditional sounds that burn with their own vibe. They'll have you dancing, crying, hootin', and hollerin'. After years of performing together at countless venues, weddings, celebrations, and tours, they are well-seasoned musicians and know how to bring it. On top of that, they absolutely love to play, and it shows.” The band may also hang out Saturday so if you play and want to pick around a campfire, bring your guitar and join them.

The festival will take place at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Tickets are $15 for an one-day individual pass, $30 for a one-day family pass, and $25 for a two-day individual pass, $40 for a two-day family pass. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time EITHER by clicking “Get Tickets” OR HERE or day of at the gate, using cash or a credit card. The ticket price provides access to fly casting demonstrations and presentations, seminars, exhibitor tables, and live music Saturday afternoon.

There are a variety of accommodations available in the Greenfield area that can be found by searching “places to stay in Greenfield MA” online but campers are welcome to spend the night at the Fairgrounds. An additional fee of $25 per night applies and can be paid in advance HERE or collected the day of arrival. Campers will need to provide their own tent or RV. This fee covers water and electric hookup and onsite hot showers. Campers can set up Friday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Quiet hours should be observed between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

RV and tent sites are available on site at the Franklin County Fairgrounds.

Limited partial hookup sites are available for RVs, including 30 amp service and access to a water spigot. Amenities are subject to change and are not guaranteed. Power and water access are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We want to encourage all campers to be mindful of others, as we truly value the opportunity to enjoy this space together. Please be respectful of other campers and their campsites. Shared resources, such as water spigots and power access, must be used respectfully and may need to be shared with neighboring campers.

Please plan accordingly and bring any needed water splitters, additional hose length, extension cords, and longer power cords for your setup.

Please do not enter another camper’s site without permission.

Alcohol is allowed in the camping area only. It may not be brought into the main festival area.

Camp stoves and propane must be used responsibly and only in approved camping areas.

Please keep campsites clean and dispose of trash properly.

Dumping stations are not guaranteed. No dumping of gray tanks, black tanks, wastewater, or sewage is allowed anywhere on the fairgrounds unless explicitly marked for public use. Campers must make off-site arrangements for dumping. Any camper found violating this rule may be asked to leave immediately and may be responsible for fines, cleanup costs, mitigation costs, or any other related expenses.

Be mindful that families with children may be camping nearby. Please keep noise, smoking, alcohol use, and general campsite activity respectful of others.

The Northeast Fly Fishers and Outdoors Festival and Franklin County Fairgrounds are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Campers are responsible for securing their own belongings, vehicles, tents, RVs, and equipment.

No. The festival is open to everyone, whether you are a lifelong fly fisher, an experienced outdoors person, brand new to fly fishing, or simply curious about exploring something new. It is a welcoming weekend for anglers, families, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys time outside. There will be opportunities to learn, ask questions, attend seminars, meet guides and makers, connect with others, and explore the broader outdoor and fly fishing community.

Yes. The festival will include fly fishing and outdoors seminars and educational programming covering topics such as casting, fly selection, local waters, conservation, gear, techniques, and more.

Yes. The exhibitor area will feature brands, makers, artists, guides, outfitters, conservation groups, and organizations connected to the outdoor and fly fishing community.

Yes. A food vendor will be on site throughout the weekend during festival hours. Attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Water spigots are available across the fairgrounds property.

This is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine. Please plan ahead and dress for the weather.

However, the safety of attendees, vendors, staff, and volunteers comes first. If severe weather threatens the area, festival staff may pause activities and evacuate the festival grounds until it is safe to continue.

During a weather-related pause, guests may return to their vehicles or move to an open Franklin County Fairgrounds building. Festival staff and security will help direct guests to appropriate shelter areas.

Please note that we may be required to clear areas near tents, and other temporary structures if lightning is detected nearby, even if the storm has not yet reached the immediate festival area or conditions still appear clear.

All guests are responsible for staying weather-aware and making safe choices throughout the festival. Please remain alert, follow staff and security instructions, and take action early if weather conditions change.

The festival follows the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Guests may not sell alcohol, cannabis, or drugs of any kind.

We are striving to create a smoke-free environment for our patrons. Please refrain from smoking in any area where it may affect someone else. Smoking is prohibited under all tents and inside buildings and any large gathering areas. Please find an isolated area if you must smoke, and dispose of your butts properly.

For the safety of everyone on site, festival security may search bags, coolers, chairs, wagons, and other items as guests enter the festival grounds.

The following items are not permitted items in the festival area, campground, or anywhere on site:

• Single-use water bottles

• Firearms or weapons of any kind

• Swords, Blades or large Knife

• Pepper spray, mace, or any item that could be used as a weapon

• Alcoholic beverages in the festival area

• Illegal substances

• Glass containers

• Fireworks

• Flamethrowers or open-flame performance equipment

• Hoverboards or other motorized recreational vehicles

• Drones or other flying objects

• Menacing tools, devices, or dangerous equipment of any kind

Campers should review the camping rules for specific information about what is allowed in the camping area, including alcohol, cooking supplies, camp stoves, propane, and other campsite-only items.

If you have the appropriate hand stamp, you will be allowed to leave and re-enter. All bags are subject to search again upon re-entry. If a 2-day stamp is washed off overnight, festival organizers will be able to look up an individual and provide a new stamp. Vehicles and RVs in the Festival camping areas must stay parked the entire weekend and keep a marked placard to be provided visible.

Strollers and wagons are allowed for patrons attending with a baby or toddler.

Nearby Public Outdoor Areas

The Greenfield area is surrounded by publicly accessible rivers, parks, trails, and outdoor recreation areas, many of which are just a short drive from the Franklin County Fairgrounds.

Very close to the Fairgrounds, about 5 minutes or less:

Green River Park and River Works Park are both nearby public outdoor spaces where visitors can walk, relax, enjoy river views, and spend time outside between festival activities.

About 5–10 minutes away:
Rocky Mountain Park and Poet’s Seat Tower offer public hiking trails and scenic views overlooking Greenfield and the surrounding river valleys. Highland Park and Temple Woods also offer public trails for walking, hiking, biking, birdwatching, and outdoor exploration.

About 10–20 minutes away:
Visitors can explore public access areas along the Deerfield River, Green River, and Connecticut River, with opportunities for fishing, paddling, scenic views, and time by the water where permitted.

A little farther out:
Franklin State Forest offers additional public space for hiking, walking, biking, and exploring more of the region.
